Choose the perfect plan for you

We provide Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), and it's based on a monthly subscription model.

Each plan comes with a dedicated number of templates, PDF conversions, and other features. Please look at our pricing section; you may cancel the subscription anytime.

The Free plan includes 50 PDFs or images per month and 3 templates, and no credit card is required to start.

You also get the drag-and-drop editor, the REST API and the Zapier, Make.com and Bubble.io integrations, so you can build and test a real workflow before paying anything. A DPA is available from the Lite plan upwards, and Teams, Bring Your Own Storage and PDF passwords start on the Professional plan.

An annual plan costs ten months of the monthly price, so you save up to 17% by paying for the year up front — Plus, for example, is $49 per month or $490 per year.

The plans themselves are the same on either billing period: the same names, the same limits and the same features. Only the price and the billing period change.

Your quota is monthly either way. On both monthly and annual plans the credit allowance resets at the start of each month — an annual plan pays for the year up front, it does not give you twelve months of credits to spend at once.

We accept credit and debit cards. Payments are processed by Stripe, a Level 1 PCI service provider, and we do not store your card details — see our data protection and security notes for the detail.

All prices are in United States dollars (USD) and exclude taxes, levies or duties that may apply where you are based.

On average, it takes about 1.5 seconds to 30 seconds. The generation time may also depend on the content you are trying to generate.

Our data and applications are hosted by AWS (Amazon Web Services).

You can specify export_type when generating PDFs:

• The option "file" returns binary data of the generated PDF and the response HTTP header Content-Disposition is set to attachment. We do not store the PDFs for this option.
• The option "s3", the PDF will be stored on AWS S3. The PDFs will be removed once they expire.

Credits are calculated based on the type of operation you perform.

• PDF generation: 1 PDF = 1 credit, regardless of the number of pages.
• E-signature: Each e-signature request consumes 10 credits.
• Watermark: Each watermark operation consumes 0.5 credit.
• Other PDF operations: Operations such as adding text or merging PDFs consume 0.5 credit per API request.

For example, with the Lite Plan (1,200 credits/month):

• You can generate up to 1,200 PDFs from templates per month.
• You can generate fewer PDFs if you also use credits for e-signatures, watermarks, or other PDF operations.
• For lighter operations like adding a watermark, you can perform up to 2,400 operations per month, since each operation consumes 0.5 credit.

We email you as soon as your usage reaches 80% of your monthly credits, and again when you hit 100%, so a busy month never catches you by surprise.

Plans are never upgraded automatically. To move up, log in to your account, open the Subscription page and pick the plan you need.

No. Your credit allowance resets at the start of each month — on annual plans too — so credits you do not use are not carried over to the next month.

If you are running out before the month ends, moving up a plan is the way to get more — compare the monthly allowances in the table above.

Log in and open the Subscription page. Choose Billed Monthly or Billed Annually, pick the plan you want, enter a coupon code if you have one along with your card details, then click Upgrade. We email you a link to download the invoice.

You can cancel yourself at any time: log in, open the Subscription page, click Manage Billing and then Cancel plan. Our step-by-step guide walks through it.

Cancelling stops the next renewal rather than cutting your plan off on the spot — you keep your current plan and its monthly credits until the end of the billing cycle you have already paid for, and you are not charged again after that.

Cancelling does not refund fees that have already been charged — your plan runs to the end of the billing cycle you have paid for instead. We do consider individual refund requests case by case, so email hello@craftmypdf.com if you think yours is one of them.

The Free plan is there so you can try the editor, the API and the integrations at no cost before committing to a paid plan.

Teams is available on the Professional plan and above. It lets you invite members, organize shared templates and control what each member can do.
