1. What problem does this tool solve?

A PDF page can store a rotation flag instead of being drawn the right way up. Some viewers honour it and some do not, so the same file reads correctly on screen and prints sideways. This tool bakes the rotation into the page itself, so every downstream tool sees the same thing.

2. Do you upload my PDF to a server?

How it works

A PDF page stores its rotation as a display flag rather than as geometry, so a page can carry portrait dimensions and still print landscape. Tools that ignore the flag — and many merge, split and print pipelines do — render those pages sideways.
